Santa Claus is Coming to Town

On Saturday we went to a family Christmas party and Santa came to visit.
Jordan did pretty well on Santa's lap, until he turned around and saw who was holding him. He didn't get too mad, but he was done. At least we got a good picture without him screaming!!
Jordan sitting with Grandma (Shanell's mom), opening his present. He loves to open presents, what kid doesn't!!

Combat Maneuvering Flight

Today we did combat maneuvering flight, which basically means fly the apache to its limits. It was awesome! Here is a picture of me doing a pitch-back turn. The picture was taken by my friend who is hovering in another apache. We are about 1000 feet off the ground.

Jordan's Frist Snow Storm

Jordan and I flew home for the holidays on Thursday; we get to stay here until the beginning of January!!
Of course coming home means having snow, I am enjoying not having snow where we live!
This is while it was snowing, it snowed quite a bit. There wasn't any snow when we got here, of course it wait for us to arrive!
We went shopping and Jordan had to wear his winter coat. He didn't mind it too much, even though he couldn't move at all.
He fell asleep on the way home all bundled up. What a sweet boy!

Yeah! Hooray for Jordan!

On Thursday Jordan and I were watching a Christmas episode of Home Improvement; they were all standing in the backyard waiting for the Christmas light to be revealed. When the lights came on they all started clapping, and Jordan started clapping for the first time!!! Who says TV doesn't teach kids anything? I have been working with him on clapping for months, and he finally does it when he sees it on TV. What a silly man! Now every time we say "yeah" or clap he claps. I was so excited, I think it is so cute.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

I love Christmas time and all the decorations.
Here are a few pictures of Jordan posing by the Christmas tree.

I love our Christmas village, sometimes I wish we could keep it up all year!!

Our Christmas tree.
Notice how its not decorated at the bottom, that would be due to our littest one!

1st Thanksgiving

We had to get Jordan a Thanksgiving shirt, and this one actually fit him pretty well. We gave him some turkey, potatoes, and bread, but all he wanted to eat was jar food. Normally he doesn't eat jar food and wants what we are eating. Silly kid!
The boys played Mario Kart on the Wii after dinner.
When we got home, Jordan wanted to play the drums on Rock Band!!
Just scooting around the house, exploring everything!

Family Day

Today was Josh's family day, so Jordan and I were able to go out and watch him fly. We love to see him fly; we are so proud of him!
Josh is sitting in the back, where the white curtains are. That's how they cover the cockpit when the fly "the bag". (Josh explained "the bag" a couple of posts ago, check that out to get the full understanding of it!)
Josh never wears his helmet at home, so Jordan didn't quite know what to think of him.
We were able to climb on the Apache and take pictures!
Sitting in the back cockpit. Its so tight for even me, I don't know how those guys get in there everyday!

10 Months!!

Jordan is 10 months today! It is amazing how fast he has been growing and learning new things.

This was actually taken a few days ago. When Jordan army crawls he scoots right out of his pants; he is too skinny to keep his pants on! At least we always know what direction was going!
The last few days he has thought he is too big for naps. When I put him in his bed and check on him later, this is how I find. He has figured out how to pull himself up, but can't always figure out how to get back down.
He is getting a mouth full of teeth, he has 4 on top and 3 on the bottom.
Here he is again showing off his new skills!

Slowly Learning to Crawl

Lately, Jordan has been figuring out how to crawl. He is still really slow, as you can see. If he is after something close he will crawl to it but if starts taking too long he will do the army crawl.

First Haircut

Josh has been wanting to cut Jordan's hair for so long, and today I finally gave in. I do agree it was getting long and it wasn't very even. Jordan did pretty well for his first haircut, and it looks pretty good.

Alabama Football Game

On Saturday we went to our bishops house for an Alabama football game party. It was tons of fun to get together with some ward members and experience a football game Alabama style. We had a great time and lots a good food! And of course Alabama won in over time!

Jordan's hat is the only Alabama thing we have!

We all wore red to support the team, this is the only red I have!

During half time we went outside and some played Frisbee.

Jordan's New Trick

Jordan started doing this last night while he was eating dinner. We thought it was so cute, we keep trying to get him to do it. He wouldn't do it once I got the camera last night, but he has been doing it a lot today. What a silly!

We went to our friends, the Salisbury's, house for a Halloween Party.
Jordan had a great time playing with all his friends, he loves kids!

I love his little cheesy smile!
He actually kept his hat on most of the night!

First Takeoff and Landing in the Bag

This is my first takeoff and landing in the bag. The bag is where they black out the windows in your cockpit so that you are unable to see outside. The only picture you get is from a night vision camera mounted on the nose of the aircraft routed to a lens in front of your right eye. It is like learning to fly all over again. I am sure it will take a while to get used to a crappy picture and no depth perception.

Getting Around

Everyone loves to watch Jordan get around, its so cute! So this is for those of you that don't get to see Jordan. He loves to carry a toy with him so when he gets to the hard floor he can bang it and make loud noises!!!

Ward Fall Festival

We went to our ward's Fall Festival yesterday, and got to dress up. At first Jordan wasn't in the mood to party, he fell asleep on the way there! Once he woke up, he had so much fun. He loved seeing everyone dressed up and play with all his friends that are around his age.

Jordan's idea of partying!!!

We are doing a goth type theme this year, we wanted something that Jordan would still be able to move around in.
