Christmas

Santa came!!
Notice Jordan laying on the ground whining on Christmas morning! He was disappointed cause I told him to come wake Mom and Dad up before he went to see his presents.  We ended up waking up before him and we were sitting on the couch when he came out. Yes I know what a silly reason to whine on Christmas morning, but that would be my child!
It didn't take him too long to get over it and was ready to open some presents! Santa even brought what he asked for, Gordon (from Thomas and Friends) and train tracks.
Thanks everyone that sent gifts, we had a great Christmas!
Playing toys already. I think Josh has as much fun as Jordan!

We were also able to send Christmas evening with our friends, the Scheibe's!
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Getting Ready for Christmas

 Excited for Christmas!
Candy Houses!
The top one is Jordan's, I made the house for him and he decorated it.
My house is on the bottom left and Josh's castle is on the right!
Making sugar cookies for Santa!
He even frosted them all my himself.

Our House

Before we arrived in Alabama, we planned to live on post even though we were pretty sure they weren't going to get the type of house we wanted. When we got here we talked to a lady at the housing office about getting the type of house we wanted she made is feel like we weren't wanted on post. So we decided to look elsewhere, and we couldn't be more happy!!!
We found the perfect house for us! Isn't it cute?! As you walk in you can see the living room and off to the left is the living room.
The living room and kitchen are connected, but the kitchen is set back a little. There is spot for another table, but we decided to just let Jordan play in that area.
Jordan's bathroom and the hallway, and Jordan's bedroom. When I took this picture he was sleeping on his crib mattress on the floor, ans since he has gotten a big bed!
The left side is my craft room and Josh's office, I love having my own space! The right side is our bedroom and master bath. We LOVE our bathroom! We have our own spaces to get ready and separate closets.
On the left side is another view of our bathroom, and below is our laundry room.
Right side is our 2 car garage with our new Highlander and below is Jordan playing on the driveway!

We couldn't have found a better house for us, we love the layout and so many other things about it! Too bad we most likely wont be here long enough to enjoy it!

Animals and a Music Show

We went to my aunt and uncle's house for dinner one night, then went downstairs to let the kids see some of the animals. Jordan was too nervous to hold the bird, but liked the snakes and turtle.

Josh and Jeremy were playing the trumpet for everyone, and the kids wanted to join. Good thing there were enough recorders to go around!!

Leaves and Painting

The past few months have been crazy busy, so now its time to catch up! At the request of my loving sister, who says since she finally updated her blog I had to also!!! Love you Fran!
There are 5 new posts today!
We went up to Grandma Dot's to help rake her leaves. The kids loved helping, and a little playing too!

My sister and I were painting a project so we got some presents for the kids to paint. They had so much fun!

Halloween

We were in Utah for Halloween for the first time this year, Jordan finally got to celebrate with his cousins!
A few days before Halloween, my parents church did their annual Halloween party. There were lots of fun games for the kids, followed by trunk-or-treating!

Jordan-Robin, Kyla-Alice in Wonderland, Rem-G.I. Joe
We let the kids decorate their own bags for trick or treating, the had so much fun going door to door with each other.
After we went out with his cousins we went to Uncle Jeremy's house for more trick or treating!

Lagoon

Jordan and I were able to come back to the US a few weeks early so we could be in Utah for my Mom's birthday. Everyone knew we were coming early except my parents. We had a birthday party on the Friday that Jordan and I got there, and surprised my parents! I didn't pull out my camera so I don't have any pictures.
The day after Jordan and I got to Utah we went to Lagoon since everyone was planning on going for my Mom's birthday. We had so much fun! Jordan was able to ride the rides with his cousins Kyla and Remington. My parents, sister (Brianna), brother (Brad), and his girlfriend (Heidi), and her son (Rhett) were also there!

More fun at Lagoon!
Jordan lasted until about 8 that night, then kept begging to go to the car so he could sleep. Poor kids was so jet lagged but was still and little trooper!

Last Part of My Parents Trip to Visit Us

Here is the rest of the trip we had with my parents:
Rothenburg. We were finally able to go on the Night Watchman Tour that we wanted to go on since we moved to Germany!
Heidelberg. This is one of my favorite castles. This time we went downtown so we could see the front of the castle.

Nurnberg. We rode the train so we wouldn't have to fight with traffic. We were able to explore new parts of the city that we haven't seen before, like the castle on the hill.
Neuschwanstein Castle. This was mine and Jordan's 3rd time to this castle, Josh had to go back to work so he didn't get to spend the last couple of days with us. It was so wet and cold, we rode the bus up to see the castle then rode the bus back. Then we ate a very German lunch of brots and schnitzel.
We sent another very cold day in Salzburg. Since we didn't have Josh, my human GPS, with us, we didn't get so see a lot cause I wasn't sure where it all was. But we did get to explore the downtown area.
We stayed off the autobahn on our way back to our hotel in Garmisch, in the autobahn was full of Oktoberfest traffic. It was pretty cool to see tons of small towns that we never would have seen on the autobahn. The roads were very curvy, as you can see in the GPS!
